Plagiarism Policy
Manuscripts must be the authors' own original work, with all sources properly acknowledged and cited.
What counts as plagiarism
- Presenting another person's words, data or ideas as your own, including your own earlier published work without citation.
- Copying text, figures or tables from other sources without permission and attribution.
- Paraphrasing closely without citing the original source.
How the journal responds
- Editors may check submitted manuscripts for overlap with existing publications.
- A manuscript found to contain plagiarism may be rejected without further evaluation, and the authors may be informed of the reason.
- If plagiarism is found in a published article, the journal may publish a correction or retract the article.
